The thesis focuses on specific recycled aluminum alloys that are treated with saline fluxes based on NaCl-KCl-Na2B4O7 during the casting process, with varying concentrations of borax (10-30%). From the chemical analysis of the casts, a reduction in iron impurity (<1%) present in the aluminum alloy is expected, and the data are discussed based on the different concentrations of salts used.
La tesi si focalizza su particolari leghe di alluminio riciclato che vengono trattate con dei flussi salini a base di NaCl-KCl-Na2B4O7 durante il processo di colata, con concentrazione differente di borace (10-30%). Dall'analisi chimica delle colate ci si aspetta di ridurre il ferro come impurità (<1%) presente nella lega di alluminio e si discutono i dati sulla base delle diverse concentrazione di sali utilizzate.
