The following paper will deal two important points: families and disability. Initially through the literature going to produce a general framework based on the concept of disability and family, then delving into being parent and being sibilings. The relationship between family and disability will then be explored in depth, defining what it means to be parents of disabled children and how professionals also relate to disability. Furthermore, what home education is will be explained to think of it as the basis for educational interventions with parents of disabled children and the children themselves. In order to think about educational interventions from a home perspective, we chose to develop an empirical investigation through the use of an online questionnaire, interviewing parents to bring out the real needs of these families. Based on the analysis of the responses, possible interventions to be implemented will then be proposed. In conclusion, we will understand what this investigation has reported and what can be explored or improved in future studies relating to this topic.
Il seguente elaborato andrà a trattare due punti importanti: famiglie e disabilità. Inizialmente si andrà a produrre attraverso la letteratura un quadro generale rispetto al concetto di disabilità e famiglia, approfondendo poi l’essere genitori e l’essere siblings. Verrà approfondito poi il rapporto che c’è tra le parti definendo cosa vuol dire essere genitori di figli disabili e come anche i professionisti si rapportano alla disabilità. Inoltre, verrà spiegata quella che è l’educativa domiciliare per pensarla come base di interventi educativi con i genitori di figli disabili e i figli stessi. Per poter pensare a degli interventi educativi in prospettiva domiciliare, si è scelto di sviluppare un’indagine empirica attraverso l’uso di un questionario online interrogando i genitori per far emergere i reali bisogni di queste famiglie. In base all’analisi delle risposte verranno poi proposti dei possibili interventi da attuare. In conclusione, si andrà a comprendere ciò che questa indagine ha riportato e cosa poter approfondire o migliorare in studi futuri inerenti a questo tema.
