This study has highlighted the concept of physical inactivity during office hours. Such physical inactivity can lead to various diseases that further deteriorate the professional performance of an employee. Sitting idle or sedentary on chair is the main cause physical inactivity. Therefore, there is a need for health interventions in workplaces. ISA is a tool entirely based on user-centric approach, which is used on office desk to monitor physical activity to change habits towards better health. The study has highlighted design of ISA for betterment off employees. Similarly, this study has also put stress on the need of user-centric approach to extract better results and effectiveness of devices. Recommendations for future improvement of device design are also provided at the end of this study.
