Is it possible to use social media as an instrument of popularizing music? Since twenty years we have been living always connected: the Internet has become the new reality where we can establish relationships, buy goods and services, take advantage of training courses, convey the arts. After the initial distrust of the digital world and its qualitative ability to convey music, we have all the music we want: but how to do it professionally, for a large audience that we often do not know, without being dark and far from the listeners? Social media forces us to be short, fast, innovative: how to choose the interesting topic to the general public, what are the ways of presenting information and what details to choose? The case of Roberto Prosseda, pianist and piano teacher at the conservatory, a long-time collaborator in successful radio and television broadcasts, will illustrate how social media can generate culture, disseminate music in an effective way without resorting to expensive and expensive instruments.

Abstract
Is it possible to use social media as an instrument of popularizing music? Since twenty years we have been living always connected: the Internet has become the new reality where we can establish relationships, buy goods and services, take advantage of training courses, convey the arts. After the initial distrust of the digital world and its qualitative ability to convey music, we have all the music we want: but how to do it professionally, for a large audience that we often do not know, without being dark and far from the listeners? Social media forces us to be short, fast, innovative: how to choose the interesting topic to the general public, what are the ways of presenting information and what details to choose? The case of Roberto Prosseda, pianist and piano teacher at the conservatory, a long-time collaborator in successful radio and television broadcasts, will illustrate how social media can generate culture, disseminate music in an effective way without resorting to expensive and expensive instruments.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
