Dissociative disorders are complex psychopathological conditions often linked to traumatic experiences, especially during childhood. These disorders present symptoms that make it difficult to integrate experiences and build a coherent sense of self: their complex nature requires specific and integrated therapeutic approaches to effectively address the different clinical manifestations. This thesis aims to explore the role of Transactional Analysis (TA) in the treatment of dissociative disorders, developing a therapeutic model that combines the TA approach, based on Berne's Ego States, with other psychodynamic theories. TA offers a useful framework to understand and manage internal splits through the analysis of the interactions between Ego States (Parent, Adult, Child), which represent different parts of the self: this approach allows to identify and integrate the dissociated parts, promoting a sense of unity and continuity in the patient's experience. The aim of the thesis was a systematic review the literature on the topic and propose an integrated therapeutic approach that uses Transactional Analysis to facilitate the understanding and treatment of dissociative disorders, offering new perspectives for clinical practice and future research.

Abstract
The aim of the thesis was a systematic review the literature on the topic and propose an integrated therapeutic approach that uses Transactional Analysis to facilitate the understanding and treatment of dissociative disorders, offering new perspectives for clinical practice and future research.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
