The purpose of this thesis is to study and analyze how a shock (in this case, the COVID-19 pandemic) shapes and changes resilience within the Italian healthcare sector. Initially, the Italian healthcare system will be examined, specifically how it evolved after the pandemic and the strategies it adopted to address the situation. Subsequently, the concept of resilience will be studied, including organizational resilience and dynamic capabilities, and how resilience is essential for dealing with such shocks. Finally, various responses obtained from the focus group with doctors will be analyzed to understand what remains from COVID-19, how they adapted, and what measures they took to mitigate the spread of the infection. The aim is to identify the "seeds of resilience" to determine whether the Italian healthcare system has learned from the past and would be able to effectively respond to a similar situation in the event of a future pandemic.

Abstract
The aim is to identify the "seeds of resilience" to determine whether the Italian healthcare system has learned from the past and would be able to effectively respond to a similar situation in the event of a future pandemic.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
