School performance of students after Covid 19 My thesis explores the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on students' academic performance. Personally, I was confronted with the Covid-2019 infection during my studies, and more specifically during my 3rd year of my Bachelor's degree in 2020, when I went on an Erasmus exchange to Dublin. This period was marked by confinement and numerous regulations. University teaching had to adapt with new practices, and students had to cope with many changes and learn how to manage this difficult period. The study begins by looking at the impact of Covid-19 on health, based on population morbidity and mortality data and age-related variations. It then examines educational outcomes during the pandemic through indicators such as absenteeism rates, academic achievement, graduation rates, and drop-out rates, based on international assessments published by PISA and OECD data. Comparative data from ESC Clermont Business School in France and the University of Padua in Italy, as well as broader European studies that highlight regional and national variations, are then analyzed. Based on all these data, the study evaluate the impact on students' academic results, as well as the psychosocial effects on students. In the final section, the implications for better management of future crises are discussed, with possible recommendations for teachers and policy-makers to adapt education systems to ensure resilience for future students.

Abstract
In the final section, the implications for better management of future crises are discussed, with possible recommendations for teachers and policy-makers to adapt education systems to ensure resilience for future students.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
