This thesis explores the strategic dynamics of mergers and acquisitions (M&As), alliances, and partnerships with a focus on the semiconductor and artificial intelligence markets. It begins by highlighting the fundamental concepts of complementary resources and how these are differentially integrated through M&As and alliances. Given the significant influence of these transactions in the AI sector, the study examines the benefits, challenges, and investments that large companies have been making in recent years. Wanting to develop the case study around Nvidia, it was necessary to introduce the sector in which it operates, the semiconductor sector, covering several critical aspects that have contributed to the company's achievements. The thesis offers an overview of Nvidia, detailing how it leverages M&As and alliances to enhance its capabilities. Special focus is placed on one particular acquisition that has significantly influenced Nvidia's growth and market position. By integrating theoretical perspectives with practical examples, this thesis aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of corporate strategy in the high-tech sector.

Abstract
By integrating theoretical perspectives with practical examples, this thesis aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of corporate strategy in the high-tech sector.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
