This paper aims to investigate the regenerative effects of different types of virtual environments: natural, historical, mixed, and urban. The research involved a sample of 200 participants, mainly university students, and was conducted in the CAVE laboratory at the University of Padua. The study used a combination of psychophysiological and psychological data to assess the impact of each type of environment on individuals. Psychophysiological datas were recorded using Empatica bracelets, which monitor parameters such as heart rate, body temperature, and skin conductance. Psychological datas were collected through a series of questionnaires administered to participants before and after exposure to the different environments. The PASAT cognitive test was also used to investigate the components of interest.
