It is now undeniable that digital devices are increasingly integrating into work environments, altering their dynamics, atmosphere, and setting. While this integration brings significant benefits in terms of efficiency and time savings, it cannot ignore the repercussions it has on the experiences and perceptions of human workers, who fear they may soon be 'replaced.' The aim of this paper is, therefore, to thoroughly analyze the impact of Work Digitalization on professional behaviors by identifying and synthesizing the main emerging issues, and at the same time investigating how career counseling practices evolve to respond to these challenges with innovative solutions capable of effectively integrating one's professional background with the recent technological tools offered by scientific progress. To this end, this paper presents a systematic review of international literature, utilizing the PRISMA model. The following sections will introduce the main topics addressed, offering an overview of the phenomenon of digitalization and career counseling. Subsequently, an analysis will be conducted on the context that led to the integration of technology into work and counseling, leading to the core of the research: the presentation of the 12 articles selected for the review, divided into two thematic groups. Finally, in light of additional theoretical contributions, the ethical implications of delivering so-called 'digital counseling' on the profession itself, the counselors, and especially the beneficiaries, will be discussed.

Abstract
Finally, in light of additional theoretical contributions, the ethical implications of delivering so-called 'digital counseling' on the profession itself, the counselors, and especially the beneficiaries, will be discussed.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
