This thesis examines the phenomenon of Bookstagram, a specialised Instagram community for book lovers participating in social reading activities. Furthermore, the study examines in detail the role of Instagram as a literary space and as an effective tool for promoting reading in the information age. The thesis analyses how this digital environment influences reading habits, creates a sense of community among readers and changes conversations about literature. The study analyses how Bookstagram members exchange book recommendations, reviews and personal comments, thus fostering a vibrant and dynamic literary community.
