The thesis focuses on female identity within different religious confessions, highlighting how, despite a similar relationship with the divine, there are significant legal and social differences. The second part will concentrate on the challenges faced by Muslim women in the Middle East and the West, examining the responses of various states to the demands of Muslim activists, and highlighting the different positions and approaches regarding women's rights.

La tesi verte sull'identità femminile nelle diverse confessioni religiose, sottolineando come, nonostante un rapporto simile con il divino, vi siano differenze giuridiche e sociali significative. La seconda parte si focalizzerà sulle sfide delle fedeli musulmane in Medio Oriente e Occidente e si esamineranno le risposte di alcuni Stati alle richieste delle attiviste musulmane, evidenziando le diverse posizioni e approcci in materia di diritti delle donne.
