La tesi esplora i complessi concetti di matriarcato e patriarcato, esaminandone le definizioni e i contesti storici per comprenderne l’influenza sia sulla società contemporanea che sulle strutture organizzative. Viene analizzata anche l’imprenditorialità femminile, approfondendo le sue caratteristiche fondamentali e il rapporto con la sostenibilità. Lo studio si conclude con un’indagine su sette imprese a guida femminile per valutare l’applicazione dei principi matriarcali o patriarcali nei loro modelli organizzativi, esplorando come questi possano contribuire alle pratiche di sostenibilità aziendale.
