Le rappresentazioni dei non vedenti nella letteratura e nella fiction. Il caso di Blanca

The intent of this dissertation is to explore the ways in which the representation of disability in general, and blindness in particular, is addressed in narratives that are at first literary and then also visual (film and fiction), analyzing emerging trends, the limits of stereotypes, and opportunities for a more authentic and inclusive representation. As a case study, the transposition of the book Blanca by Patrizia Rinaldi into fiction produced by RAI is analyzed.

L’intento di questa tesi di laurea è quello di esplorare le modalità con cui la rappresentazione della disabilità in genere, ed in particolare della cecità, è affrontata nelle narrazioni dapprima letterarie e poi anche visive (film e fiction), analizzando le tendenze emergenti, i limiti degli stereotipi e le opportunità per una rappresentazione più autentica e inclusiva. Come caso di studio viene analizzata la trasposizione del libro Blanca di Patrizia Rinaldi nella fiction prodotta dalla RAI.
