Abstract
Antonio Galateo, in his Pater Noster, dedicated to Isabella of Aragon, traced an excursus more interested in the human side of the tragedy, betraying the precepts of the typically humanistic historiographical genre. The humanistic crisis then announced a return to a genre of culture well rooted in the feudal system, which would continue to pervade the literature and art of the South into the following century. Roberto Caracciolo also uses the vernacular and not the Latin language in the Mirror of Faith, apologizing for this to the prince to whom he dedicates the work. Alfonso urges him to replicate the success he was enjoying in the streets with his pen (therefore to write works that have the same success due to the involvement of those involved).File | Dimensione | Formato | |
