This thesis aims to study the rich folkloric component in the medieval secular theatre, witnessed in Arras in the 13th century. The role of myths, rituals, symbols and folk traditions in the "jeux" of Adam de la Halle and Jean Bodel is analysed punctually and with reference to literary theory and other perspectives (ethnoanthropology, linguistics).
Il presente elaborato è volto allo studio della ricca componente folklorica nel teatro profano medievale testimoniato ad Arras nel XIII secolo. Il ruolo di miti, riti, simbolo e tradizioni popolari nei "jeux" di Adam de la Halle e Jean Bodel viene analizzato puntualmente e riferendosi alla teoria letteraria e ad altre prospettive (etnoantropologica, linguistica).
