Today sensitivity is considered a characteristic, an innate trait, belonging to children, which is often lost with the arrival of the adult stage. The opposition between adults and children refers to the opposition between rigidity and sensitivity. The objective of this work is to analyze the theme of sensitivity in children according to the psychological, clinical, pedagogical and social aspects. Not all children are equally sensitive, some children are highly sensitive. A further aspect of this work is to provide a contribution both to the awareness of reality and to defining the critical issues that a highly sensitive child may encounter in the school context during growth. Highly sensitive children, in fact, experience difficulties and receive influences from the school world. School, like the family, is a context that occupies much of their time and in which they reach various stages of development; facing these stages in inadequate contexts can cause consequences if not permanent damage from a social and psychological point of view. Hence the importance of disseminating interventions to prevent the possible discomfort experienced by highly sensitive children and interventions to promote well-being within school environments.

Abstract
Hence the importance of disseminating interventions to prevent the possible discomfort experienced by highly sensitive children and interventions to promote well-being within school environments.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
