The thesis explores the phenomenon of "street children," with a particular focus on resilience within a socio-ecological context. Using a qualitative-ethnographic approach, the research analyzes the causes of the phenomenon, relationships with family and peers, and the children's orientation toward the future. Tools like semi-structured interviews and the KIDSCREEN-10 test are used to assess participants' well-being and quality of life. The study delves into the dynamics of street life in Kenya and highlights the importance of social networks in promoting resilience among children in highly vulnerable environments.
La tesi esplora il fenomeno dei "ragazzi di strada", con un focus particolare sulla resilienza nel contesto socio-ecologico. Attraverso un approccio qualitativo-etnografico, la ricerca analizza le cause del fenomeno, il rapporto con la famiglia, i pari e l'orientamento al futuro, utilizzando strumenti come interviste semi-strutturate e il test KIDSCREEN-10 per valutare il benessere e la qualità della vita dei partecipanti. Si approfondiscono le dinamiche della vita di strada in Kenya e l'importanza delle reti sociali nel promuovere la resilienza dei ragazzi in contesti di estrema vulnerabilità.
