The purpose of the following study is to identify the carbon footprint of a company in northern Italy that provides products and services to the oil and gas sector, by describing in detail the process of reporting direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions associated with the organization. The tools and regulations that govern their application and enable the quantification of emissions produced by the organization's activities are analyzed. In more detail, ISO 14064 is described, which provides specific guidelines on the calculation and on how to report emissions for each carbon footprint category to provide clear and replicable results. The information and data collected enable the company to provide useful results and directions for improving its environmental performance.
