Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs) represent a promising alternative to traditional photovoltaic technologies due to their low production costs, flexibility, transparency and environmental benefits. This thesis focuses on the transition from laboratory-scale production to pilot-scale fabrication, addressing the challenges and optimization strategies for scaling up DSSCs. Key aspects of the process, including material selection, device architecture, and manufacturing techniques, are analyzed to valuate efficiency, reproducibility, and cost-effectiveness. The results underline the importance of optimizing each stage of production, demonstrating the feasibility of achieving good performances in a scalable manner.

Abstract
Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs) represent a promising alternative to traditional photovoltaic technologies due to their low production costs, flexibility, transparency and environmental benefits. This thesis focuses on the transition from laboratory-scale production to pilot-scale fabrication, addressing the challenges and optimization strategies for scaling up DSSCs. Key aspects of the process, including material selection, device architecture, and manufacturing techniques, are analyzed to valuate efficiency, reproducibility, and cost-effectiveness. The results underline the importance of optimizing each stage of production, demonstrating the feasibility of achieving good performances in a scalable manner.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
