From National Minorities Protection to Children's Participation Right: Implementation in Kosovo

This thesis examines the intersection of children's participation rights and national minority rights in Kosovo, with particular attention to the role of NGOs in facilitating meaningful participation of minority children. Through analysis of international legal frameworks, including the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities, the research explores how children's right to participate is uniquely impacted when they belong to national minorities. The study pays special attention to education and language rights as crucial enablers of participation.
