This research investigates the dynamics of born-digital companies established in the past 15 years that embrace digital technologies at their core. These companies leverage innovations such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and big data to create value, enhance customer experiences, and sustain competitive advantage. This study examines how born-digital companies navigate digital disruptions, innovate their business models, and collaborate within digital ecosystems to foster long-term growth. By focusing on the interplay between digital disruption and business model innovation, the research uncovers patterns of agility and adaptation that enable these companies to thrive in evolving markets. The role of ecosystem actors, including startups, lead firms, and customers, is analyzed to understand their contributions to innovation and competitive differentiation. Methodologically, this study employs qualitative interviews with born-digital firms to extract rich insights into their strategic approaches.
