Inspired by the specific approach to philosophy known as epistemology of concepts, this work aims to highlight some of the key aspects and points of convergence within the theoretical trajectories of Jacques Lacan and Jean Laplanche. The premise is that both psychoanalysts conceived of their discipline as a science (albeit with a particular status) and sought to establish its foundations through the production of appropriate concepts. In the first chapter, building on the work of Guy Le Gaufey, this study will attempt to briefly reconstruct the genesis of the “object a”, and illustrate – drawing from two texts of the Écrits – the emergence of the disjunction between the Imaginary and the Symbolic, which, in the author’s view, roughly coincides with that of the Real. In the second chapter, the focus will be on three essays by Louis Althusser, which are useful for understanding the objectual revolution imposed by a science such as psychoanalysis, as well as on an article by Michel Tort dedicated to the Freudian concept of Vorstellungsrepräsentanz. Finally, in the third section, an assessment will be made of the convergence of the intellectual trajectories of Lacan and Laplanche, while also highlighting others hypotheses of “junction”, and the methodological question in analysis will be briefly discussed in light of the two conceptual developments previously examined.

Abstract
Finally, in the third section, an assessment will be made of the convergence of the intellectual trajectories of Lacan and Laplanche, while also highlighting others hypotheses of “junction”, and the methodological question in analysis will be briefly discussed in light of the two conceptual developments previously examined.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
