This work analyses and reflects on the problem of the right to housing in the history of republican Italy, with a specific focus on the relationship between state policies, the right to housing and political mobilisations in Padua in the 1970s and 1980s. In addition to drawing on recent and contemporary bibliography, the research integrates the use of primary written sources produced by institutions, parties, political groups, and public bodies with the use of oral sources collected from protagonists and witnesses of the events of those years.
Il presente lavoro analizza e riflette sul problema del diritto alla casa nella storia dell'Italia repubblicana, con un'approfondimento specifico sul rapporto tra politiche statali, diritto all'abitare e mobilitazioni politiche nella Padova degli anni Settanta e Ottanta del Novecento. La ricerca, oltre a fondarsi sulla bibliografia recente e coeva, integra l'uso di fonti primarie scritte prodotte da istituzioni, partiti, gruppi politici, enti pubblici con l'uso di fonti orali raccolte da protagoniste e testimoni degli eventi di quegli anni.

Abstract
