Considering the developments of Italian fiction, between postmodernism and hyper-contemporary, the detective and noir literary genres are analyzed in relation to the stories of Antonio Tabucchi and Leonardo Sciascia, identifying common trends and differences in choices and focusing the research on the problematic relationship between historical reality and literary fiction and their ambiguous narrative rendering.

Considerando gli sviluppi della narrativa italiana, tra postmodernismo e ipercontemporaneo, si analizzano i generi letterari giallo e noir in relazione ai racconti di Antonio Tabucchi e Leonardo Sciascia andando a individuare tendenze in comune e differenze di scelte e focalizzando la ricerca nel problematico rapporto tra realtà storica e finzione letteraria e la loro ambigua resa narrativa.
