The final thesis aims to examine the influence of large multinational corporations on the dynamics of relations between states, using Apple as a case study. Apple is at the center of two emblematic cases that will greatly aid in understanding the issues that currently shape and influence inter-state relations. On one hand, the issue of taxation in Ireland, a country often referred to as a "tax heaven" due to its implementation of favorable economic policies. On the other hand, the issue of privacy in China, where Apple has granted significant concessions to the Chinese government in order to maintain privileged economic relations, something it has not implemented with other actors on the same international stage. The central objective of this thesis is to investigate and demonstrate, through an in-depth analysis of these two cases, how multinational corporations, specifically Apple, manage to circumvent international regulations and treaties to which they are bound, leveraging tax practices and privacy management to their own advantage and interests.

Abstract
The central objective of this thesis is to investigate and demonstrate, through an in-depth analysis of these two cases, how multinational corporations, specifically Apple, manage to circumvent international regulations and treaties to which they are bound, leveraging tax practices and privacy management to their own advantage and interests.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
