Statistical data analysis is a rapidly growing field that plays a crucial role in the success of companies operating in the digital landscape. This thesis focuses on the analysis of a network of products purchased on the Amazon platform, aiming to explore its structure and complexity, as well as to identify significant relationships and latent affinities through the application of Additive and Multiplicative Effects (AME) regression models. The AME regression approach provides an innovative framework for gaining a deep understanding of sales dynamics, enabling businesses to adapt to the evolving needs of customers and optimize the distribution of their products.
L’analisi statistica dei dati è un campo in rapida crescita che riveste un ruolo cruciale nel successo delle aziende operanti nel contesto digitale. Questa tesi si concentra sull’analisi di una rete di prodotti acquistati sulla piattaforma Amazon, con l’obiettivo di esplorarne la struttura e la complessità, nonché di identificare relazioni significative ed affinità latenti, attraverso l’applicazione di modelli di regressione ad effetti additivi e moltiplicativi (Additive and Multiplicative Effects). La regressione AME offre un approccio innovativo per acquisire una comprensione approfondita delle dinamiche di vendita, consentendo alle imprese di adattarsi alle esigenze mutevoli dei clienti e di ottimizzare la distribuzione dei propri prodotti.
