This thesis presents the design and prototyping of a scalable, open-source observability solution for enterprise IT systems with a focus on microservices architectures. The proposed framework addresses key challenges, including scalability, data correlation, relationship management, and standardization, while integrating smart alerting. A structured approach for deployment, configuration, and governance is outlined to ensure policy compliance and operational efficiency. By enhancing performance monitoring and proactive issue resolution, this work provides a robust, data-driven foundation for modern IT infrastructure observability.
Questa tesi presenta la progettazione e il prototipazione di una soluzione di osservabilità scalabile e open-source per i sistemi IT aziendali, con un focus sulle architetture a microservizi. Il framework proposto affronta sfide chiave, tra cui scalabilità, correlazione dei dati, gestione delle relazioni e standardizzazione, integrando al contempo un sistema di allerta intelligente. Viene delineato un approccio strutturato per il deployment, la configurazione e la governance, al fine di garantire la conformità alle politiche e l'efficienza operativa. Migliorando il monitoraggio delle prestazioni e la risoluzione proattiva dei problemi, questo lavoro fornisce una base solida e basata sui dati per l'osservabilità delle moderne infrastrutture IT.
