New and popular cloud-gaming solutions present a challenge in terms of high-throughput and round-trip delay requirements. This document analyzes the network traffic generated by games of different types from two cloud gaming platforms, Amazon Luna and Google Stadia. These data are processed and compared to understand the strengths and critical points of both services. This is followed by an analysis of what a user can do, in terms of network configuration and device settings, to improve Amazon Luna performance.
Le nuove e più diffuse soluzioni di cloud-gaming rappresentano una sfida in termini di requisiti di throughput elevato e round-trip delay. Questo documento analizza il traffico di rete generato da giochi di diverso tipo da due piattaforme di cloud gaming, Amazon Luna e Google Stadia. Questi dati vengono elaborati per capire i punti di forza e le criticità di entrambi i servizi. Segue un'analisi di ciò che l'utente può fare, in termini di configurazione di rete e impostazioni del dispositivo, per migliorare le prestazioni di Amazon Luna.
