The thesis will explore the motif of Matadero within several Argentine novels with particular emphasis on its gradual transformation over time: from a place distinctly set apart from the community to a sprawling presence that, in contemporary times, takes on the elusive forms of capital.

La tesi tratterà del dispositivo del Matadero all'interno di alcuni romanzi argentini, in particolare modo sarà incentrata su come, nel corso del tempo, il Matadero sia andato gradualmente cambiando: da luogo ben separato dalla collettività a un'espansione che nella contemporaneità assume le impalpabili forme del capitale.
