Gender-based violence remains a relevant and transnational issue that transcends borders and cultures. This study aims to compare the anti-violence services in Italy and Finland through a qualitative analysis of the experiences of service providers. It highlights strengths and weaknesses within the services and offers suggestions for improving support for women. The study primarily focuses on immigrant women who are victims of violence—a group that may require more targeted support due to the challenges associated with migratory experiences. Additionally, it advocates for the adoption of Trauma-Informed Care within anti-violence services to enhance the support provided to immigrant women who have experienced violence.
