LED voltage monitoring is essential to properly control light emission power and color. In this thesis, a design for the analog-mixed signal front-end of an ADC to acquire LED voltages is proposed. Firstly, a design for a high voltage multiplexer was developed. Secondly, a switched-capacitor operational amplifier was considered to scale the output voltage of the multiplexer to the low-voltage ADC input range. The circuit was designed and simulated using BCD technology.
Il monitoraggio della tensione dei LED è fondamentale per il controllo della potenza e del colore della luce emessa. In questa tesi è proposto un design per il front-end analogico di un ADC per l'acquisizione della tensione di LED. Inizialmente, è stato sviluppato un multiplexer high-voltage. Poi, è stata realizzata un'interfaccia attraverso un amplificatore operazionale a capacità commutate per scalare l'output del multiplexer nel range di input di un ADC low-voltage. I circuiti proposti sono stati sviluppati e simulati in tecnologia BCD.
