Colore, corpo, spazio: materiali da costruzione per l'architettura performativa. La ricerca di gruppo nanou

The paper explores and delves into the use of the chromatic device in the performing arts. The first chapter of the thesis examines, through a historiographical analysis followed by an art-historical one, the ways in which the subject of color has been studied in theoretical writings and used by artists over the centuries. From the second chapter onward, the analysis focuses on the scenic use of the chromatic device by the contemporary dance company 'gruppo nanou': through an in-depth study of five productions (from 2017 to the present), the work explores the possibilities that color—elevated to the status of a choreographic element equal to dance—opens up on stage.

L'elaborato affronta e approfondisce l'utilizzo del dispositivo cromatico nelle arti performative. Il primo capitolo della tesi esamina, attraverso un'indagine storiografica prima e storico-artistica poi, le modalità con cui la materia colore è stata studiata dalla trattatistica ed usato dagli artisti nel corso dei secoli. Dal capitolo secondo, invece, l'analisi verte sull'utilizzo scenico del dispositivo cromatico della compagnia di danza contemporanea "gruppo nanou": mediante l'approfondimento di cinque produzioni (dal 2017 ad oggi) vengono sviscerate le possibilità che il colore, reso elemento coreografico al pari della danza, apre sulla scena.
