In this thesis we aim to analyze the roots of Kiarostami’s cinematic language, with particular attention to the central role of children in his filmography, and to explore the legacy he has left in contemporary cinema. Through an in-depth analysis of his works and his style, we will try to understand how Kiarostami has redefined the relationship between spectator, image and reality, contributing to transforming cinema into a form of poetic reflection on existence.
In questa tesi ci proponiamo di analizzare le radici del linguaggio cinematografico di Kiarostami, con particolare attenzione al ruolo centrale dei bambini nella sua filmografia, e di esplorare l’eredità che ha lasciato nel cinema contemporaneo. Attraverso un’analisi approfondita delle sue opere e del suo stile, cercheremo di comprendere in che modo Kiarostami abbia ridefinito il rapporto tra spettatore, immagine e realtà, contribuendo a trasformare il cinema in una forma di riflessione poetica sull’esistenza.
