Manzonismi novecenteschi: temi e forme della ripresa sciasciana.

This thesis aims to investigate the intervening relationship between Leonardo Sciascia and the Manzonian model. After illustrating, with a general overview, the different ways in which Manzoni's work has been taken up in the second half of the twentieth century (Primo Levi, Franco Fortini, Giovanni Testori, Dino Buzzati), the analysis will focus on the peculiarities of Sciascian actualization. This is a profound introjection, which manifests itself on the ethical, thematic and formal levels and can be exemplified through three works of the Recalmutan writer: “The Context,” “The Witch and the Captain,” and “Open Doors.”

Questa tesi si propone di indagare il rapporto intercorso tra Leonardo Sciascia e il modello manzoniano. Dopo aver illustrato, con una panoramica generale, le diverse modalità di ripresa dell'opera manzoniana nel secondo Novecento (Primo Levi, Franco Fortini, Giovanni Testori, Dino Buzzati), l'analisi si concentrerà sulle peculiarità dell'attualizzazione sciasciana. Si tratta di un'introiezione profonda, che si manifesta sul piano etico, tematico e formale e che può essere esemplificata attraverso tre opere dello scrittore recalmutese: "Il Contesto", "La strega e il capitano" e "Porte aperte".
