This project focuses on the study of the physical and dynamical properties of the extrasolar planetary system TOI-201. A multi-technique approach is adopted, combining Direct Imaging, Astrometry, and Radial Velocity data to investigate the possible presence of an as-yet undetected companion within the system. In particular, Direct Imaging data acquired with SPHERE have been reduced and post-processed. A dynamical analysis is also carried out with numerical simulations and using chaos indicators such as MEGNO, in order to assess the long-term stability of the system and explore plausible scenarios for its formation and evolution.

Abstract

This project focuses on the study of the physical and dynamical properties of the extrasolar planetary system TOI-201. A multi-technique approach is adopted, combining Direct Imaging, Astrometry, and Radial Velocity data to investigate the possible presence of an as-yet undetected companion within the system. In particular, Direct Imaging data acquired with SPHERE have been reduced and post-processed. A dynamical analysis is also carried out with numerical simulations and using chaos indicators such as MEGNO, in order to assess the long-term stability of the system and explore plausible scenarios for its formation and evolution.
