«Uno strano potere di parola». Memoria, esperienza e narrazione nell’opera di Primo Levi

The present thesis takes into consideration Primo Levi, an Italian writer of the second twentieth century, with a chemical education, to whom today is commonly attributed the testimonial function of the anthropological, literary and historical meaning of the Lager. The work would show the literary effect in memorial production and, vice versa, the presence of autobiographical and traumatic elements within narrative works.

La presente tesi prende in considerazione Primo Levi, scrittore italiano del secondo Novecento, con una formazione da chimico, a cui, oggi, è attribuita, comunemente, la funzione testimoniale del significato antropologico, letterario e storico del Lager. Il lavoro vorrebbe mostrare l’effetto letterario nella produzione memorialistica e, viceversa, la presenza di elementi autobiografici e traumatici all’interno delle opere di carattere narrativo.
