In psychotherapy, process-outcome research has gained widespread attention in recent years, allowing for the identification of correlations between what happens during the process and the outcome of therapy. This study concerns a process-outcome research applied to a single case, conducted using the ACT method. The aim of the study is to evaluate how ACT therapy helps the patient translate their emotional and visceral experience into words, in conjunction with a positive outcome. The therapy, consisting of 12 sessions, was fully transcribed and subsequently analyzed using the IDAAP software. Various computerized linguistic measures of referential activity were applied, among which the most significant for the research were: MIWRAD2, MIWRRL, and IRef_WRAD2. The results suggest that the therapy helped the patient maintain good cognitive and emotional processing throughout all the sessions, accompanied by high levels of referential activity.

Abstract
In psychotherapy, process-outcome research has gained widespread attention in recent years, allowing for the identification of correlations between what happens during the process and the outcome of therapy. The therapy, consisting of 12 sessions, was fully transcribed and subsequently analyzed using the IDAAP software. Various computerized linguistic measures of referential activity were applied, among which the most significant for the research were: MIWRAD2, MIWRRL, and IRef_WRAD2. The results suggest that the therapy helped the patient maintain good cognitive and emotional processing throughout all the sessions, accompanied by high levels of referential activity.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
