In response to the growing interest in AI in general and sustainable transition, this work investigates the connection between artificial intelligence and sustainability: what is the application of AI for sustainability, twin transition, and circular economy. First, the current situation and already existing findings were evaluated to find the gap in the research. To analyze the connection, it was decided to use patent data related both to sustainability and AI. To define the relevant patents WIPO classification was chosen. The further analysis was conducted using Python.
