Abstract

In this thesis two different types of end-effectors for future satellite berthing operations are presented and compared, underlining their differences, adavntages and disadvantages. The mechanism at the base of the movement of the fingers are studied with the Denavit-Hartenberg convention and motion studies with Solid-Works are used to validate the system operations.
