Molière's L'École des femmes, a play first performed in December 1662, is considered by the author himself to be one of his most accomplished works. The aim of this thesis is to analyse this work both from a literary point of view, through an examination of the text and the characters in the various acts, and from a didactic and pedagogical point of view, in order to propose an effective integration in the school context. To this end, a lesson devoted to the play will be simulated, illustrating the didactic methodologies adopted to present Molière and his theatre to students. Furthermore, by means of a questionnaire administered to a sample of candidates, the research aims to explore the potential benefits of introducing French theatre in schools, not only as an artistic and expressive form, but also as a tool for cultural and literary enrichment. Indeed, theatre is not only a means of entertainment, but also a vehicle for personal reflection and education, capable of transmitting values and lessons applicable to everyday life.
