An Experimental Assessment of Open Source vs. Commercial Web Application Firewalls

In todays world, as we have web applications, security is an important topic to be concerned about which can be provided through web application firewalls. The thesis focuses on the behavior of closed-source and open-source web application firewalls and compares them by implementing several attack vectors and observing their ability to protect a vulnerable web application.
