This thesis presents a comprehensive redesign and technical optimization of the existing website BoardOnAir, focusing on creating a user-centered, inclusive, and performance-optimized digital experience. Grounded in a detailed website audit, the project identifies key usability issues, accessibility shortcomings, and structural limitations that hinder the effectiveness of the platform in its current state. In parallel, the project enhances the website’s responsiveness and adaptability across devices by applying mobile-first design strategies. A refined Information Tree has been developed to guide the redesign of the site’s architecture, aiming to improve content hierarchy, navigation logic, and overall usability. This new structure is intended to support faster orientation and smoother task flow for all user segments. Search engine optimization (SEO) plays an integral role in the project as well. By improving metadata, implementing structured data, optimizing internal linking, and minimizing load time, the new BoardOnAir website is engineered for better discoverability, ranking, and engagement. Overall, this thesis demonstrates how a thoughtful combination of accessibility standards, UX principles, mobile-first strategies, and SEO techniques can revitalize an existing digital platform like BoardOnAir. The final result aims to offer a high-quality user experience that is technically robust, accessible to all, and aligned with the expectations of modern web users.
