This case study investigates the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) by Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the healthcare sector. Through qualitative analysis based on interviews with companies from the sector, it explores how AI is being implemented, the benefits achieved in diagnostics and operational efficiency, and the key challenges faced—such as limited resources, expertise, and regulatory barriers. The findings highlight critical success factors and provide practical recommendations to support effective AI integration in healthcare SMEs.
