This thesis presents a case study of a multinational company operating in the chemical sector, recognized as a market leader in B2B sales, particularly within the Electronics and Automotive industries. The research focuses on the strategic development and implementation of an AI Enablement initiative, examining how the company has sought to become genuinely AI-first, highlighting the challenges encountered. Particular attention is given to the Learning & Development department, where the author completed a 6 months internship, analyzing the concrete actions undertaken to foster AI adoption across the organization. Through a critical lens, the thesis evaluates stakeholder reactions, identifies key success factors, and discusses the limitations and areas for improvement within the AI Enablement journey. The goal is to provide insights into how large organizations can effectively navigate the complexities of digital transformation and build sustainable, inclusive AI-first cultures.
