Bridging Cultures in Early Education - Investigating Interculturality Through Educators’ Perspective

This thesis highlights how globalization reshapes identity, making it increasingly fluid and multifaceted, especially for children growing up in today's society. Therefore, Intercultural education must enhance openness to cultural plurality. Taken together, the three chapters provide a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of how interculturality can be meaningfully and sustainably integrated into early educational practices, starting from the earliest stages of a child's development, thereby promoting inclusion, empathy, and respect for diversity within the learning community. This effort includes teachers and parents' collaboration to be effective.
