In the current context of industrial production, workplace safety is a primary concern, not only for regulatory compliance but also for protecting the well-being of individuals and the organization as a whole. Among the most innovative models for promoting safe behavior in companies is the Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) approach, a method that aims to reduce the risk of accidents by directly intervening on workers' behaviors and related daily habits, through structured observations, real-time feedback sessions, and practical tools such as checklists. Science demonstrates that behaviors are at the root of accidents. This thesis is based on a curricular internship experience at the EssilorLuxottica plant in Agordo, a cutting-edge production facility where the BBS process has already been active in some areas for some time and, given the plant's large size, is in the process of being implemented in others. The research focused specifically on analyzing the quality of this process and supporting its improvement, observing the ways in which it is applied in the field and examining the role of the tools and relational dynamics involved. Based on the findings of the internship, the thesis aims to reflect on the factors that can concretely impact the effectiveness of the BBS, with the aim of offering useful insights for consolidating a truly participatory safety culture oriented towards continuous improvement.

Abstract
Based on the findings of the internship, the thesis aims to reflect on the factors that can concretely impact the effectiveness of the BBS, with the aim of offering useful insights for consolidating a truly participatory safety culture oriented towards continuous improvement.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
