ln today's ever-changing world of healthcare, it is increasingly necessary to strike a balance between service quality, sustainability and practitioner well-being. The aim of this thesis is to explore how Lean Management-an approach that focuses on waste elimination and continuous improvement-can also be applied in the healthcare context, particularly in preventive services. At the centre of the work is the figure of the health professions manager, seen not only as a management figure, but as an engine of innovation and promoter of a leaner, more effective and value-centred organisational culture. After analysing the main Lean tools and some experiences already experimented in Italy, the thesis proposes an operational model applicable to the AUSL of Romagna, based on the direct observation of a real process such as the management of chronic patients and the relative vaccination pathway. Through the mapping of the value flow, criticalities and waste were identified, on which concrete interventions guided by the manager are suggested. The work concludes with a reflection on the expected effects in terms of efficiency, perceived quality and operator satisfaction, but also on the future prospects of an increasingly strategic and improvement-oriented managerial role.

Abstract
ln today's ever-changing world of healthcare, it is increasingly necessary to strike a balance between service quality, sustainability and practitioner well-being. The work concludes with a reflection on the expected effects in terms of efficiency, perceived quality and operator satisfaction, but also on the future prospects of an increasingly strategic and improvement-oriented managerial role.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
