This study explores gender discrimination in the workplace and the barriers that hinder women’s advancement in Kazakhstan. Despite progress toward gender equality, women continue to face challenges such as unequal pay, underrepresentation in leadership positions, and persistent stereotypes regarding their leadership abilities. The research analyzes organizational practices, societal attitudes, and structural constraints that limit women’s career growth. By identifying these barriers, the study proposes strategies to foster inclusivity, such as transparent promotion criteria, mentorship programs, and awareness campaigns. The findings aim to contribute to building more equitable workplaces and enhancing women’s participation in leadership roles.
