The increasing presence of foreign workers in the Italian labor market makes the study of intercultural human resource management particularly relevant. This thesis explores the processes of integration and professional development of immigrant employees, focusing on the challenges and opportunities arising from the encounter of different cultures within organizations. After outlining the legal and social framework of migration in Italy, the research examines the main corporate practices of inclusion, recruitment, and training of foreign personnel, with particular attention to diversity management strategies and the valorization of skills. The analysis highlights how effective integration policies can improve organizational climate and strengthen business competitiveness, while also fostering both individual and collective growth.
La crescente presenza di lavoratori stranieri nel mercato del lavoro italiano rende sempre più rilevante lo studio della gestione interculturale delle risorse umane. La presente tesi analizza il tema dell’inserimento e dello sviluppo professionale del personale immigrato, ponendo l’accento sulle sfide e sulle opportunità che derivano dall’incontro tra culture differenti all’interno delle organizzazioni. Dopo una ricognizione del quadro normativo e sociale relativo alla migrazione in Italia, vengono esaminate le principali pratiche aziendali di inclusione, selezione e formazione del personale straniero, con particolare attenzione alle strategie di diversity management e di valorizzazione delle competenze. L’analisi evidenzia come politiche di integrazione efficaci possano contribuire non solo al miglioramento del clima organizzativo, ma anche al rafforzamento della competitività delle imprese, favorendo la crescita individuale e collettiva.
